Scientists come to Holyrood in bid to save forensic labs Over 40 forensic scientists and their union representatives are coming to Parliament today to voice their concerns about the proposed centralisation of forensic services from Aberdeen to Dundee and Edinburgh to Glasgow. Lewis Macdonald MSP has obtained a members debate at 5.00pm today where he will argue against the closure of the Aberdeen Lab along side his Labour colleague George Foulkes MSP who will also argue for the retention of the forensic lab in Edinburgh.
